Drabble meme time, because I phail and also want to work out my RP-writing skills. SO.

- Pairings/groupings are a-go-go, but no sex (implied? sure; written? no).
- I don't know most of the canons in camp, but if I RP with a certain character a lot (or read their threads, which is pretty much all of you except for when I'm really tired), I might be able to get their voice down. BUT I ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR RAPED CANONS.
- I cannot guarantee length. I will try not to rip you off though.
- You can make as many requests as you want. I'll TRY to get to them all before I head to Texas on June 13 (I will NOT be using the internet at all from then until July 21, and after July 21 I'll be emo for about four weeks). Still, I WILL get them done, no matter how long it takes me.
- No rape/incest/tentacles. Unless it's a request involving Kal.
- If you want to involve a character I'm familiar with who's not in camp (see the below rule for guidance), I will gladly do so.
- Here's the kicker. I would prefer if it involves at least one character I'm VERY familiar with if you choose not to request one of my own. Characters I am very familiar with come from several canons: Dynasty Warriors, Excel Saga, Lupin, and X-Men (even though there are none in camp). There are other characters I'm very familiar with, but that'd be a case-by-case basis.
- You don't have to do a pairing. I like fighting RP/discussions/etc. just as much if not more (because those are pretty much squickless).

Request away. If your request goes a long time without being answered, tag me by e-mail (s.STOPSPAMtriDIESPAMnkl@gNOSPAMmail.SCREWSPAM</b>com - you know what to get rid of) or IRC if you see me on. Just, uh, please be nice about it.

So, anyway. Not really sure what to tag this as, but it's a character explanation thingy.

For those of you familiar with the Dynasty Warriors series: I'm DW4-canonizing my Dynasty Warriors characters. The reasons for this are twofold:

1) In the DW4 canon, nobody really dies, whereas in the other ones, characters like Sun Jian, Sun Ce, Guan Yu, Zhou Yu, etc. all bite the bullet eventually. I want to de-emofy Sun Ce in order to get his awesome DW4 personality across.

2) Also, I want to make all of the characters at least a little familiar with the other characters in the Dynasty Warriors universe. In DW5 and the others in the series, Sun Ce wouldn't have ever even met Lu Xun or anything. In DW4, he'd recognize them.

So, just a heads-up. Not really a major change in Gan Ning or Zhou Yu's cases, but a HUGE one for Sun Ce.

So, feel free to comment here with what your characters think of my characters:

-Gan Ning (Xingba)
-Lu Meng (Ziming)
-Sun Ce (Bofu)

And I'll comment back with what they think about yours.

Here are what my characters think of one another (thanks to Da Qiao's player for the inspiration and for hopefully not minding my shameless ganking).

Gan Ning - Lu Meng - Gan Ning really, REALLY respects Lu Meng. He will follow his orders, no matter how degrading or how humiliating. At the same time, he was a bit annoyed during the whole unpleasant "noise in the middle of the night" business. But that said, he's very glad Lu Meng's at camp.

Gan Ning - Sun Ce - These two never actually met (the DW timewarp allows them to meet in the world where Sun Ce isn't assassinated, but only Da Qiao and Sun Ce appear to be from that particular world). Still, Gan Ning does like him, and basically sees a cooler, stronger, but more hot-headed version of Sun Quan there.

Lu Meng - Gan Ning - Despite all the gruff he gives him, Lu Meng knows that Gan Ning is one hell of a fighter and the two get along like good friends whenever it isn't "business time." Lu Meng shows him a great deal of favor in battle, and he often entrusts him with important tasks. Because Lu Meng knows that Gan Ning can handle them.

Lu Meng - Sun Ce - Lu Meng looks up to Sun Ce quite a bit - Sun Ce was his childhood hero. When Sun Ce was 17 and Lu Meng was 15, Lu Meng was just a soldier in Sun Ce's army who had killed a superior officer because the man insulted Lu Meng's family. He turned himself in to Sun Ce, who instead of killing him, gave him a promotion for his loyalty to his family. Lu Meng was with Sun Ce from almost the very start, so having Sun Ce back alive is a blessing.

Sun Ce - Gan Ning - It's like they're long lost brothers. Everybody else seems to like him, so he had that in his favor. In addition, he has great respect for Gan Ning's skill. He also found out that Gan Ning ends up killing Huang Zu, which only makes Sun Ce like him more.

Sun Ce - Lu Meng - Sun Ce sees great potential within Lu Meng, but he hasn't quite seen what Lu Meng's capable of. That said, he's willing to assume now that Lu Meng has become a great strategist - back when Sun Ce knew him, he was a cunning warrior but wasn't very bright. Sun Ce trusts him with his life.

So, you love it, go.

OOC: Everything you need to know about Gan Ning.

Q: Who is Gan Ning?

A: Gan Ning hails from the Kingdom of Wu (southern China, circa 220 AD). He was born to a family of pirates, but nothing is recorded about this family. He tried to serve Liu Biao, then governor of Jing province, but was denied and ended up serving Liu Biao's subordinate, Huang Zu. Sun Quan, who had just inherited the lands of Wu from his elder brother, Sun Ce, attacked Huang Zu. Gan Ning, after fighting against Sun Quan, eventually joined him. He became one of Wu's most prized generals and warriors and assisted in numerous campaigns.

Q: What is the rivalry about between Gan Ning and Ling Tong?

A: Short answer: Gan Ning killed Ling Tong's father.

Long answer: Gan Ning killed Ling Tong's father. Then, he ended up serving Sun Quan alongside Ling Tong. Ling Tong was not very happy about this, and the two almost came to blows several times. Eventually, Gan Ning saved Ling Tong's life, and the two became close friends... as well as rivals.

Q: What about his personality?

A: Let's see... he's a heavy drinker, he sports an attitude at times, and he's always itching for a fight. But he's ALSO very friendly - especially to pretty young women. And he's also quite protective of his friends (who, at the camp, include Lu Xun, Ling Tong, and Momoko, though there are others he'd stick his neck out for).

Q: What are his strengths/weaknesses?

A: HAHA HE HAS NO WEAKNESSES. Okay, I'll bite.

Strengths:
-Very good fighter. Fast, strong, and agile.
-A quick thinker.
-Mostly sociable.
-Bathes.
-Brave to a fault.

Weaknesses:
-Impulsive.
-Drinks excessively. He even distills his own ZOMBIE BLOOD at camp for crying out loud.
-Sometimes not sociable.
-Brave to a fault.

Yeah, yeah, I finally got this thing working.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. This thing's not gonna get me booze, booty, or BOOTY, right? So what's the point?
